The restaurant was such a treat! I had the most unforgettable moment there, indulging in delicious food, surrounded by a charming and elegant atmosphere. Definitely a memory to cherish forever.

Oh, and let's not forget the joy of dragging my suitcases up the hill to reception. Such a delightful start to my stay.

It's a nice family-oriented hotel with a good breakfast, nice dinner. The swimming pool is very good for kids. I liked the big pine trees surrounding the hotel. It's especially convinient if you travel around by car as it has free parking.

We had reserved a big room in the hotel but since it was in front of the road we moved to the private villas in the park and we had a great vacation. It was very practical with children as there was a small kitchen very well equipped and we could have some of the meals in the garden in front of the villa. The 2 swimmings pool are very well fitted to small children and very quiet.YOU Can also relax in the park of the HOTEL.We found that the hotel direction was very nice (In particular Sylvia), they found us a good alternative when we told them that the room did not fit us and were always willing to give good advices on restaurants and places to visit.

The room we had reserved was in front of the road and we felt it is a pity while most rooms were on the other side or the villas were in The park.

The hotel had excellent amenities, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast. The well-maintained lawns, swimming pool, and tennis court added to the charm of the property. The location was convenient, with easy access to the town center, autostrada, and train station. The staff was helpful and accommodating, and our room had a beautiful lake view. The pool and gardens were clean, and the pool bar provided excellent service.

My air conditioning broke down on Friday and was not repaired until early morning on Saturday by noisy workers on the roof above my room (?). If a fan had been available for air movement, it would have been better.

The swimmingpool was very good

We spent our Christmas holidays at this hotel this year and it was wonderful. The location was perfect: just a short walk from the town and the bus stop was right outside. We had a great lake view from our room and the breakfast was amazing. There was a wide variety of foods to choose from and the staff were very accommodating. The best part was definitely the pool, it was clean and great for all ages.

That the room was a bit on the small side and the shower could have been a bit bigger. , the heat in our room wasn't working, but the staff was quick to fix it for us.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well presented. A fairly long walk to the centre of Desenzano. Would stay again subject to price.

Advantages: 1) Positioned in a great location in Desenzano with some view to the lake 2) The room was HUGE! 4 people had so much space… 3) We received great recommendations from the front desk (where to go, where to eat, etc.) 4) Very nice swimming pool, great tennis court

Disadvantages: 1) Very small refrigerator that barely could hold the things that we bought 2) Very small safe in the room. I couldn’t get my laptop inside. 3) You get only 4 hour free Wi-Fi access. I think that in 2011, Wi-Fi should be free of charge since it is a basic need and should be granted as a common service. 4) We were charged 4 Euros per pool towel, I think it too much

villa maria in desenzano del garda was a perfect choice for our celebrations. the staff went above and beyond, the bungalow was clean and great value, and the pool facilities were excellent. being self catering with access to hotel facilities made our stay even better.

Hair dryer didn't work.

The hotel itself is not quite new and it looks simple insight, however, taking into consideration its location (quiet but still 10min. Walk from the centre of Desenzano only), wounderful, large environment (gardens with quiet, secluded places, swimming pools, tennis court, aviary, ect), vary good local food (do not leave without trying their spicy frutti di mare soup) and unusually friendly and helpful staff (you can expect a home atmosphere) it is a very good choice especially for families with kids. Mmmmk

Could be a little bit more sophisticated and modern ("fresh") insight, but only for those who are not going to leave the room.

The staff were very helpful and staying with two small children the family room was very big and clean.

It was about 20 minutes to walk into the town and sometimes it was difficult to get a chair at the pool.
